Menominee County is located in the south central part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is neighbor to MarquetteDickinson and Delta Counties, this county also boarders Wisconsin. Menominee County has a population of 23,791 as of 2013 and spans over 1,338 sq. miles. The City of Menominee is the largest city in Menominee County consisting of 8,494 people as of 2013. Some other areas in Menominee County include; Stevenson, Carney, Daggett, Powers, Cedar River, etc. It should also be mentioned that this county is one of four in the Upper Peninsula that is in the Central Time Zone, as this will cause some time confusion.

Menominee is the southern most part of the Upper Peninsula. Enjoy a relaxing weekend fishing in the Menominee River or Green Bay. The Menominee River separates the City of Menominee from Marinette Wisconsin and then empties into Lake Michigan. Menominee County is then only a quick drive to Green Bay Wisconsin, where you can enjoy the perks of a bigger city; including shopping and pro football.
